Some opportunities include choral repertoire, solos and small ensembles.
The first rehearsal is slated for Thursday, Sept. 3. Rehearsals will be held at 7 p.m. Thursdays, with Sunday call time at 9:15 a.m.
This year on Christmas Eve the choir will perform
the Baroque masterpiece, “Gloria,” by Antonio Vivaldi, which will be accompanied by a professional string ensemble.
Bowman’s credentials include his work as conductor, organist, pianist, award-winning composer, arranger, tenor soloist and trumpeter, but he says he is equally at home with classical, popular and jazz styles of music.
